The Second Baptism

Anabaptists first appeared in the 16th century (1521) in Zwickau. These were Christians, Protestants with supplementary radical reforms that caused them huge sufferings.
Anabaptists had a different yet close point of view regarding God and Christianity. As their name points, the re-baptized rejected their first infant baptism that was imposed on them and their second baptism was a sign of a new faith and a re-birth.
They also rejected all the oaths of Christianity. They didn't believe in "Capital Punishment" and refused the concept of magistracy.
As a basis for their faith, anabaptists relied on the "Canonical Scriptures".
For them, the new and correct "Kingdom of God" involved signs of communism and women community.

A black page in the humans' history

Auto-da-fé is a noun of Portuguese origin which means “Act of faith”.
The Auto-da-fé concept started in 1481 in Seville, Spain and ended in 1850 in Mexico.
The Auto-da-fé was basically a death sentence given by the Catholic Church to all the people
that were accused of committing religious offenses and for those viewed as unrepentant.
This so called “Act of faith” was considered as an important event, a ceremony that no one
should miss. And thus it was always held on Sundays or during special occasions to accommodate
a huge mass of people. This sacred sacrament consisted of burning unmercifully people alive
(heads first) in the name of God. As if !!!!!!!!!!!!

Benjamin Franklin

And!!! after winning the beauty pageant contest for several consecutive years,
we now present to you the face of America Benjamin Franklin on the 100$ bill.
you're laughing aren't you ? :)
Sometimes we wonder who are those people and why did they end up
landing on money bills ?
And we ask ourselves : "seriously! couldn't they have picked someone
really sexy and good looking to put on the bill so everytime we look at it
we'd instantly fall in love? ":)
I couldn't help asking myself this question and in persuite of a clearer
understanding of facts I did a small search on why Benjamin Franklin
and nobody else.
The truth is Benjamin Franklin turned out to be a hero for the American
society and a great acheiver in the entire world.
Benjamin Was a multidisciplinary human being. During his life span he
managed to work in many different fields. he was a musician, an inventor,
a civic artist, a diplomat and these are just examples of many more things
he did. He was a success as an author and his invetions and scientific
enquiries made a huge impact on the human life.
But what is more important than all of that is his campains for colonial
unity. He had such a strong will, never gave up or got intimidated by
threats. And he managed to acheive his goal. America took its
independance and he was the first united states embassador in France from
1776 through to 1785.
And having dedicated his life for a country he beleived in, Benjamin
Franklin acquired the title of  "The first American" and he was considered
as the founding father of the United States.
So I guess Benjamin Franklin not only earned but deserved both the title of
"The First American" and his picture being displayed on the 100$ bill.
